The Brambles 

The Elections Committee is comprised of the Electoral Officer and 2 or 3 appointed Scrutineers.

 

Elections are generally held every year to replace Directors who have finished their two-year terms. (Anyone volunteering or being nominated for the Board must have been a co-op member for a minimum of 6 months and have attended at least 1 General Membership Meeting).

 

The Elections Committee's duties:

• post notices of the election

• encourage  members to run as prospective candidates

• oversee an orderly election

• tabulate ballots

 

Members of the Election Committee carry out the process in accordance with “The Brambles Housing Co-Operative Election Regulations”.
